This evening I met a boy who is supposed to be in 6th Standard.
He was selling ground nuts near a park. He was pleading and begging me to buy ground nuts. My brother in law who was with me was moved by his story. His dad ran away and him mom does some household jobs. He is the leader in his school and he needs Rs.200 for school fee.
once bitten I wanted to make sure that his story is true and he is really deserving. Once two boys did this project in Trichy and reportedly collected huge money. When we gave one of those boys a good lunch and sent one of my friends with money for his tution fee to Manapparai, there was no such student enrolled in the school.
My brother in law is going to enquire about the boy in the school tomorrow. If the story is true, he will pay the fee. I am planning to sit with that boy and teach him some self respect and soft skills. I do not want him to appeal for the people's sympathy. He needs to be a self respectful kid.
Will talk about the progress....
I congradulate Jeyaseelan on this venture. My prayers and support will always be with you....
